Bartlinski Named Director of Sports Medicine – SJSUSpartans.com


SAN JOSE, Calif. – Long-time South Bay athletic trainer Stephen Bartlinski has been named the new Director of Sports Medicine at San Jose State, athletics director Marie Tuite announced on Monday.
Bartlinski, who has had stints at Stanford, the San Jose SaberCats and in the private sector, will start in his new role with the Spartans on Oct. 21.
“It’s always special when you can hire someone who studied at SJSU and I’m thrilled to have Stephen back in the Spartan family,” Tuite said. “He has incredible knowledge and experience in the field of sports medicine and I look forward to him providing leadership to our student-athletes, coaches and staff. Stephen will be a major contributor to our Spartan Balance that benefits each of our student-athletes.”
