Visby Medical’s Personal PCR Receives Funding from National Institute of Health, RADx Program – BioSpace

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 13, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Visby Medical™, an infectious disease diagnostic company, received Phase 2 funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as part of its Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics (RADx) initiative. The RADx initiative aims to combat SARS-CoV-2 and increase national testing capacity for COVID-19.

Visby Medical's Personal PCR, a rapid, palm-sized device designed for use at the point of need to detect SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA.
